Permissions in SAFE
There are currently 5 types of permissions in SAFE. Each permission has a list of functionality tied to it. A user is
Company Administrator
Change Company Administrator?
Only FRMSc can make any changes to the Company Administrator account upon receiving instructions from the license holder.
A Company Administrator is the super user. This permission allows a user to:
- Access all functionalities in the Settings page
- Set security features like Two Factor Authentication (2FA), Log-on Messages, and the Single Sign-On (SSO).
- Grant permissions to the users to become Instance Administrators.
Instance Administrator
Instance Administrator is a subset of Company Administrator with reduced access. This permission allows a user to:
- Access most settings excluding Administrator Setting and Company Setting
- Add, delete and edit users.
- Provide a username and password to the user and change some security settings related to the password.
- Add, edit and delete airport codes.
- Change the fatigue threshold setting.
- Change the date format.
Web User
A Web User is a normal user. This permission:
- Lets a user access the model functionality
- Restricts adding and editing Users and airports
- Restricts access to the Instance Administrator or Company Administrator settings.
Developer
A Developer refers a software developer employed by a client who wishes to:
- Access Preferences and API Setting
- Access model functionality
- Access Apps page
Survey App User
A Survey App User is someone with access to FRMSc sleep and activity data collection iOS/Android app(s). This user can:
- Submit data collected in a spreadsheet to the SAFE server.
- not access any other functionalities.
